Tam-produced programming is regularly seen on broadcast and cable networks around the world. In 2008, our special 100 Years, Millions of Memories , which chronicles the history of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk premiered on PBS. In 2006, Discovery's Military Channel premiered project Coast Guard at War, the never-before-told story of the U. S. Coast Guard in the Vietnam War. Read the press release on this site to learn more.

Past projects include our award-winning documentary, "Preemies: The Fight for Life" and the three-part series "Lifeguard Rescues" for Discovery Health and "Helicopters to the Rescue", "Dangerous Rescues", "Survivors", and "Rescue Swimmer" produced for Discovery.

Over the years, our programs have included the nationally syndicated "Coast Guard", which aired on 110 stations across the country. Still see internationally as "Sea Rescue", the program was aired in Europe on B-Sky-B in Scandanavia on TV3, and in Africa and the Middle East. Following "Coast Guard", Tam created "Rescue Swimmer", "Helicopters to the Rescue", "Coast Guard Survivors", "Dangerous Rescues", and "High Seas Cops" for Discovery's flagship network. All of these programs, featuring real Coast Guard rescue and law enforcement stories, were later distributed internationally and are now available on DVD at www.coastguardchannel.com.

"Preemies: The Fight for Life", produced originally for Discovery and later shown on Discovery Health was the predecessor to "Infants: The Fight for Life". Both programs were shot on location at Stanford Hospital and Valley Medical Center in the San Francisco Bay Area. "Street Medics", a one-hour special, which also aired on both Discovery nets, was shot on the streets of San Jose, California. "Preemies" and "Infants" can be purchased on Amazon.com.

"Vacation SOS" was a spin-off of the "Coast Guard" series repackaged for Travel Channel. Twenty-six episodes of Vacation SOS aired from 1999 to 2002. The series is currently in international distribution.

Two projects for Discovery Health included "Lifeguard Rescues", shot in Santa Cruz, California, and "The Healing Chamber" produced by Octagon Productions out of Malibu. Tam and Susan O'Connor Fraser were co-executive producers of "The Healing Chamber."

Our television entertainment work was spun off in 2002 to our subsidiary TuffCubby Entertainment. To learn more, visit www.tuffcubby.com.
