We got the chance to team up again with long-time client Jim Barnes of Los Gatos-based Barnestorming Advertising. Past associations delivered spots for Nation’s Hamburgers, San Jose Airport, and Santa Clara Valley Family Health Plan to name a few. This time out, our goal was to produce a commercial for the City of San Jose’s Clean Energy Showcase. From their website the San Jose Clean Energy Showcase was:
“Funded by the Department of Energy and with matching private donors, the Clean Energy Showcase supported key goals of the City of San José Green Vision by educating consumers about clean energy solutions and resources for green collar workforce training.”
It was pretty cool hanging out at the Showcase and learning about all the innovations in alternative energy sources from complete homes to solar panels and pods to wind mills and electric cars. Making the day even better was our choice of on-camera host for the spot – Allison Everman, one of our favorite on-camera talent.
In addition to a the :30 spot starring Allison, we also created three :15 spots that were all fun and graphically based. It’s always fun to work with Jim. He’s one of the best creative directors/copy writers in the business.
