TeamTam recently won a grand award in the 2019 Adwheel Awards Competition. The Adwheels recognize the marketing and communications efforts of the American Public Transportation Association’s members. The awards also create a way to share best practices and to raise awareness of the value of marketing professionals within the industry–specifically public transportation marketing.
A Commercial for Monterey-Salinas Transit
Tam was recognized for the Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) RealTime bus tracking commercial, a project made in conjunction with Phil Wellman of Wellman Advertising for MST. The RealTime spot highlights a new public interface for the transit system, allowing easy ways for riders to access up-to-date information through text, app, or phone. It’s really a great system. Phil developed the creative for the various elements of the campaign, which included digital ads, social media, brochures, signage, and the commercial. Tam’s crew included Susan O’Connor Fraser producing, and Regan Eymann co-directing along with Phil. Tam O’Connor Fraser was the Director of Photography and Editor.
We’ve worked with Phil successfully on other projects like the successful 2018 “Yes on Measure J” video, addressing public water on Monterey Peninsula. We love working with him, for a lot of reasons.
“We’ve been working with Phil since 1991. He always brings us brilliant creative ideas that make for great commercials or other video content. Plus, he brings a great sense of humor–always a plus on any project,” notes Tam.
